The York and Lancaster Regimental Collection and Archive is a comprehensive collection of objects and documents spanning the 210 year history of the Regiment and its predecessors the 65th and 84th Regiments of Foot.
The 3500 objects include material from any part of the world in which the Regiment served (principally India, New Zealand, Africa, and Europe) and cover all aspects of Regimental life during the period 1758 to 1968. The archive consists of over 16,000 items that were used by the Regiment in an official capacity and items collected by soldiers during their military career or saved by the families of those on active service.
The gallery at Clifton Park Museum tells the different stories of the Regiment through temporary exhibitions.
